Sailing on (Summer)

Here are four seasonal songs I've written and donated to the Sclerosis Association. My intentions are to play and sing these songs at schools during my trip. I have already started to sing songs with children in different schools here in Denmark. The songs can be heard on the films below, sung by pupils at Marie Jørgensen's School in Odense at the annual spring concert.

SUMMER

TELL ME ABOUT THAT SUMMER
WHEN THE WAVES WERE RIDING HIGH
AND GOLDEN FIELDS THAT RIPPLED
AND IT SEEMED LIKE FOREVER

TELL ME ABOUT THAT SUMMER
WHEN THE MOON WAS RISING HIGH
TELL ME ONE MORE TIME NOW
WAS IT TRUE

TELL ME ABOUT THAT SUMMER
WHEN THE SUN WAS FLYING HIGH
WE TALKED AND THEN YOU TOLD ME
THEN WE WENT OUT SAILING

WALKED WITH ME ALONG THE BEACH
GAVE ME THE REASON WHY
THAT WE COULD STAY TOGETHER
WHILE WE´RE
SAILING ON SAILING ON
THAT SUMMER
NEVER WAS THE SAME WITHOUT YOU
SAILING ON SAILING ON
THAT SUMMER
NEVER WAS THE SAME WITHOUT YOU
THAT SUMMERS COME AND GONE

Falling Flying (Autumn)

Falling flying (Autumn)

Autumn comes and says goodbye
To september´s wind and sunny skies
Leaves of amber red and brown
Falling flying around the town
Falling flying around the town
Blow wind blow wind blow wind
Falling flying around the town

Spring seems so far away (Winter)

Spring seems so far away (Winter)

Winter arrives
With its clear crystal sound
Children just skate
Holding hands
Turn around
We just stand
While the snow gently falls
And yet spring seems so far away

Turn on the lights now
And open the door
Turn on the lights for the new year
While we just stand
While the snow gently falls
And yet spring seems so far away

Coast to coast (Spring)

Coast to Coast (Spring)

We walked for miles
And we always had something to say
Over the stiles
And then kicking the stones in the way

We talked for hours
Making plans for the future to be
Smiled and we laughed
And then looked out over the sea

Coast to coast
We´d just run away
Dream and run through the night
Coast to coast
We´d just hide away
And whistle those songs til it´s light.
